Hello, first group of people who probably forgot they ever joined this community!

I'm going to start promoting it to the LJ public within the next few days. What do you think of the userinfo I've set up? Think it'll work? Any ideas big or small?

I like the userinfo and so forth.

Do we want new people to post an intro when they join?

Looks good so far! I'd add racism to the list of no-nos.

You might also consider adding a disclaimer that this community is not for arguing about the definitions of "polyamory," "swinging," "open relationship," and so on. Terminology is less important than methodology. :)

Good point, added.

Heh, I had a little aside in the first draft about 'the interminable poly vs swinging wars' but I took it out because it was too grumpy and silly! You're right, the sentiment should probably be returned, in a less grumpy form.

Very much looking forward to enjoying this community! The userinfo looks nice, though I'm sure it will evolve as the community grows. :)
